At the beginning of spring, our ambassador Denis Pail went to the sun-drenched Leonidia - a Greek climbing paradise, which attracts endless slabs, limestone overhangs and a relaxed atmosphere. This time he brought along his trusty partner - the Tendon Master 8.6 rope in bright pink.
"I've been climbing Master 8.6 for over 7 years and I'm still enjoying it more and more," says Denis. "At first I had respect for its thin diameter, but now I wouldn't change. It's extremely light and I hardly feel that I'm pulling any rope at all when climbing."
With only 50 grams per metre, the Master 8.6 is one of the lightest single ropes in the world. And that's why Denis can't even get enough of it when climbing under rocks - it saves his strength, which he can then use to climb over.
"I climb heavy projects and relaxed lines on it. And the paint? That's the icing on the cake. Pink shines a mile away and everyone asks me about it."
The rope is triple certified, making it ideal not only for ambitious soloists, but also for couples looking for variability in the mountains. In Leonidio, it proved to be a perfect fit - Denis combined style, confidence and lightness.
